Aqua's Stunfisk

So, as a start of 'Aqua's favourite pokemon of each type' meme [link] by

Stunfisk, yeah.

Not the coolest Pokemon, I'll give you that, but it's not particulary stupid;

Quoting Smogon, Stunfisk is a gimmick Pokemon, much like Castform or Farfetch'd. But the slowest Electric-typed has its (never)uses

First of all: unique typing. it's not much, but Stunfisk gets around by STABing Earth Power and Discharge, while having Water typed moves at its disposal too, with a base 81 Sp. Att. Fairly high stats on both defences make it stand out from other gimmicks and gives him some time on the battlefield to set up its Stealth Rock or Toxic. It has many weaknesses, but with the right teammates, it can get there.

Not as useless as you might imagine, huh? With a base 32 speed, try using it with Trick Roomers, see how that suits ya

If it came earlier in the game, I would have been training it, probably.

And, overall, I think it's an hilarious Pokemon. Its derpy, slow but painful deaths can bring rage to your foes, if they don't use the power of the Stunfisk. But then again, noone ever does It's an unique choice and it might bring some confusion to your enemies.

So, to the lovers; good on you for being different!

To the haters; try giving it a chance
